Randy Gold, MAI, SRA

Randy Gold received his BA degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1973 where he graduated with honors. He joined Mollica and Associates, Inc. as an appraiser in 1978. The company was renamed the Aspen Appraisal Group, Ltd in 1989, and Aspen Appraisal Group, LLC in 2010. He was designated RM (Residential Member) by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers in 1982.

In 1992 the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers merged with the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and was renamed the Appraisal Institute. At that time his RM designation was reclassified SRA. Randy received his MAI designation in 1984. He is a Certified General Appraiser with the State of Colorado and is also a licensed real estate broker.

Randy’s appraisal concentration is in very high-end luxury single-family houses and building sites, commercial real estate including retail, office condominiums and mixed-use projects, subdivision of raw land, proposed residential developments including single-family and multifamily, easements, condemnation or “takings,” and ski area base development.

Randy has also been qualified as an expert witness in Local, State and Federal jurisdictions.

In his spare time, Randy enjoys cycling and hiking in the summer and snowboarding and uphilling in the winter. Randy also serves on the Board of Directors for Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers.
